Soft covered, it contains about 250 pages and more than 50 pictures and illustrations. It includes stories that were printed in area newspapers; a history of county departments, elected officers and department heads that have served; and county commissioners since the 1854 election. This book has a complete history of the courthouse and county government buildings since 1855. The 1949 "Historical Facts of Sibley County" pamphlet has been reprinted and is included, as well as information on townships that submitted their information. As a bonus the chapter on Sibley County, printed in "A History of the Minnesota Valley", by Rev. Edward D. Neil, etal (1882) is also included.
